Jazzie If it came with a 60-day trial and the time's up, then you're going to need to purchase the programs you want. The disks that came with the computer are what's already on it, unless there's some mention in the documentation that says otherwise.

.but won't recognise and upgrade my ms money 2002 standard. (My version has no eula, but has options for australia/singapore/New Zealand etc, from which I guess I need an 'international' version. I noticed reference to North America in this EULA.) Apparently MSM 2004 is an essential step to upgrade from pre 2003 to sunset, they do say it wont recognise different region versions.Hopefully it will work for us versions; if anyone knows where I can get an 'international' version please let me know!
MS OEM Numbers Microsoft OEM Numbers I am no fan of Microsoft for a lot of different reasons which I won't go through here. However, one of the things that I think is so insane is the silly OEM registration sheets that they ship with CDs.
Anyone who is thorough enough to copy a CD would certainly copy the OEM registration number. However, the average guy who just files the CD away after a successful installation may very well separate the actual CD from the little sheet with the OEM regsitration number. Fortunately just about any Microsoft OEM registration number will do. So this web site is to help out people who have legitimately bought/received a Microsoft CD (OEM variety), but have lost their sheet with the registration number. If you purchased your MS CD software separately (it did not come with your computer), you need to follow the link to. That link may also be useful if you have current OEM software that uses the latest 25 character keys. Can you help me?
I am now preparing a suit against Microsoft for misrepresenting their copyrights under the DMCA and so on. I also believe that their CD keys are primarily intended to defraud consumers from their legal rights to use the software (in the hope that they will lose the CD keys and have to buy another license, this time directly from Microsoft). So, I would like to include a class action suit of consumers who:. purchased a computer with OEM licenses,. lost their key,. had to reinstall their software, but were blocked by Microsoft key validation software, and. either.
purchased an additional license at a store (hence were defrauded by Microsoft) or. used information on my site to permit them to reinstall their legally purchased software If you are a U.S. Resident (preferrably of upstate New York) and can document your purchases as above (what a pain), please send me an email at (take out the space). I will need your full name and address for inclusion in the suit (as a co-plaintiff). Eventually you will need to provide me with a signed declaration that you purchased the computer and the other things above (I will write up the declaration for you) as well as documentation of your purchases. Thanks for any help you can provide. For OEM software (came with your computer), try this: 01000-OEM-0000-095-00000 (sometimes there are only four zeros in the last section) This OEM number has worked with:.
Automap Streets Plus. Flight Simulator 98. Monster Truck Madness 95. Office 97 Professional Edition. Outlook 98. Publisher 97, an alternative is 99999-OEM-000. Windows 95 (also German A).
Windows NT Workstation. Works 4.5. Works Suite 99 with Word (Gateway Essential 500) Please send me an E-mail (but don't forget to remove the space). Another easy to remember one you can try is: 11111-OEM-111 It worked with: Golf 3.0 Flight Simulator 98 Money 95 and 97 Works 4.0 Works 4.5 (works on XP and even Vista) Word 97, German Version Publisher 98 (Gateway OEM) Another easy to remember one you can try is: 01234-OEM-014 This one worked with:. Office 95. Windows 95. Windows NT This first part of the OEM number is for the OEM ID. For example, 01297 is for Dell. It is rumored that any five digits should work. Please send me an E-mail to (but don't forget to remove the space) if you find MS products that it works with as it is very easy to type and often works. One person had to use 01297-OEM-014 to get Windows NT 4 server to install.
Another you can try is: 12495-OEM-0000-374-25798 I am not sure what CD this is from, but I am compiling a list of all Microsoft applications that this OEM registration number works with.
